Araqji: Iran is insisting on holding indirect talks with America on the nuclear file – the seventh day

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqji stressed his insistence on holding indirect talks with the American delegation in the Sultanate of Oman, today, Saturday, regarding the nuclear file of Tehran.

Araqji briefed the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman Badr bin Hamad Al -Busaidi, during a meeting held this morning, with the positions of Iran and the issues under consideration that must be discussed with the American delegation, according to the Iranian Tasnim News Agency.

Araqji praised the Sultanate of Oman’s official’s position towards regional developments, saying that the fact that Muscat is hosting indirect negotiations between Iran and America clarifying the position of Oman.

For his part, Al -Busaidi briefed his Iranian counterpart on the arrangements and preparations that his country made to conduct indirect talks with America.

In a related context, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman, Ismail Baqi, wrote in his account on the “AX” platform: a group of our most experienced colleagues, accompanied by the Foreign Minister, is going to Muscat and we are determined to use all our capabilities to protect Iran’s ability and national interests.

A delegation of Iranian diplomats led by Araqji today arrived in the Omani capital, Muscat, to conduct indirect negotiations with the United States through Oman.
