Sudanese Foreign Minister: Al -Fasher faces a great danger due to the rapid support militia attacks – the seventh day

Dr. Ali Youssef, the Sudanese Minister of Foreign Affairs, said that the remaining fast support militia forces fled through the Jabal Awlia Bridge, and headed towards Darfur and Kordofan, explaining that the battles are currently concentrated in limited pockets within the state of Khartoum and some other regions.

He pointed out during a special meeting with the journalist Jamal Anayet, on the program “Then what happened”, on the “Cairo News” channel, that Sudan entered a new stage of the war, which is the stage of drones, where the militia – with external support – resorted to the use of these planes to target strategic areas, including the capital and its suburbs, in addition to the Marwa region in northern Sudan, where the Meroe Dam was exposed to three consecutive attacks using marches.

The minister added that this stage is a development after the army’s victory in the Battle of Khartoum, expecting that the militia will focus in the coming days to try to overthrow the city of El Fasher, the capital of Darfur State, which is the last stronghold of the Sudanese Armed Forces and the joint armed movements forces in the region, revealing that Al -Fasher was subjected to more than 180 consecutive attacks from the Rapid Support militia but has failed to control it so far.

The minister expressed his regret for the militia targeting a plane that was carrying food and supplies to Darfur, warning that the city will face a very dangerous humanitarian and security situation in the coming days, pointing out that the militia’s goal is to bring down the city of El Fasher and then declare a parallel government affiliated with it and impose political control over the Darfur region, considering that what is happening represents a dangerous and articulated stage that requires a serious alert from the international community.
