Bashir Jabr, the correspondent of the “Cairo News” channel from Khan Yunis, said that the Israeli occupation army launched an artillery shelling targeting the neighborhood of Al -Salam and Al -Manara in the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, during the night hours, and also detonated residential houses in the north and west of the Palestinian city of Rafah, the far south of the Strip.
Jabr explained, during his message on the air, that the Israeli warplanes flew intensively and low in the airspace of the southern region of the Gaza Strip, coinciding with extensive fire from Israeli helicopters towards the northeastern regions of the Palestinian city of Rafah, where the Israeli military vehicles are located within the so -called “Mirage” axis.
The correspondent pointed out that the occupation forces asked the residents of the eastern regions of the city of Khan Yunis, such as Khuza’a, Abasan Al -Kabir and Al -Jadida, to evacuate their areas and move to what the occupation described as the “Mawi” areas in the western side of the city.

He also added that the Israeli aircraft targeted the Al -Mutawasar area in the western part of Khan Yunis, killing Palestinians and wounding others.
