In another context, the permanent representative of the State of Palestine to the United Nations, Minister Riyad Mansour, affirmed that the condemnation and concerns alone will not suffice to force Israel, the existing force of the occupation, to comply with the rule of law and stop the genocide it is waging against the Palestinian people, pointing out that the Israeli war criminals cannot continue to impunity for their crimes.

He called on the Security Council to demand the end of the Israeli aggression, an immediate ceasefire, lifting the siege on Gaza, and providing unrestricted humanitarian assistance that include food, water, medicine, shelter and fuel … as well as accelerating the application of all stages of the ceasefire and ensuring its continuation in Gaza and the rest of the occupied Palestinian territories, including Jerusalem, with full respect for international law and its decisions, including the 2735 and 2334 resolutions.

In his letters, Mansour called for the status of this genocide at the top of the international community’s priorities, as it is a mandatory step towards ending the illegal colonial occupation and racist chapter, calling for enabling the Palestinian people to achieve their rights and live freely, security and peace in their homeland, through the establishment of a peaceful and fair settlement based on a two -state solution in accordance with international law and related international decisions.
