This came during a meeting of the President of Iraq at the Peace Palace in Baghdad, with the Palestinian Interior Minister Ziad Mahmoud Mohamed and his accompanying delegation, where they discussed the situation in the Palestinian territories in terms of security, economic and humanitarian aspects.
The Iraqi President stressed – in a statement to his media office reported by the Iraqi News Agency (conscious) – the need for an immediate end to all forms of aggression against the Palestinians, and to ensure their security and safety … indicating that the stability of the Palestinian situation is the only way to achieve stability and permanent peace in the region.
