Al -Dahhak said at a meeting of the Security Council: “We thank you for the quick response in order to hold this emergency session in response to the desire of my country.”
He added: “The majority of member states stressed the need to support Syria and its people in this sensitive stage in its present and future.”
He continued: “The Israeli occupation authorities worked to undermine the efforts of the Syrian government for peace. The occupation forces launched hundreds of air attacks on Syrian soil, causing victims and civilian casualties.”
He pointed out that “the occupation army penetrated into Syrian territory, destroyed roads, disrupted water and Internet services, and occupied some buildings in Quneitra.”

He concluded by saying: “The international community stressed the concerted efforts to end the suffering of the Syrian people and support the stability and security of Syria,” stressing that supporting Syria’s security is positively reflected in the region.
