An official military source in the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces said that the southern military zone, in coordination with the military security services and the Anti -Narcotics Administration, managed yesterday evening to thwart an attempt to smuggle narcotic substances by a plane on its western façade, within the area of its responsibility.
The source added, in a statement today, Thursday, that the border guards in the southern military zone applied the rules of engagement after monitoring and following up the plane, and they were dealt with and dropped inside Jordanian territory, and the seizures were transferred to the competent authorities.
