An official in the Yemeni government said that the American raids that targeted a house in the district of Shaoub, north of the capital, Sanaa, resulted in the death of one of the largest leaders of the Houthi group, Saleh Al -Suhaili.
According to the adviser to the Yemeni Minister of Information, Ahmed Al -Masibli, the American raid, which “targeted a leadership house in Sanaa, resulted in the killing and wounding of 25 Houthis.”
In a series of leaflets he mentioned through his official account on the “X” platform, Al -Misibli stated that “Saleh Al -Suhaili, whose house was killed in peoples in Sana’a, is one of the largest leaders of the group in the region, and one of the largest mobilization of Houthi.”
The targeting of the Houthi leader’s house, according to Al -Musibli, came during the presence of a number of Houthi leaders in his hospitality, while Yemeni sources said that they were then holding a meeting at the house of Saleh Al -Suhaili.

The information circulating about Saleh Al -Suhaili indicates that “one of the most prominent tribal figures who joined early in the ranks of the Houthi group, during the early wars in Saada.”
Al -Suhaili played a prominent role in recruiting fighters in favor of the group in his area, and has strong relations with the Houthi leaders.
