UNICEF: The closure of about 21 centers to treat malnutrition in Gaza as a result of the resumption of aggression – the seventh day

The UNICEF spokesperson, Kazem Abu Khalaf, announced today, Sunday, the closure of about 21 macro -feeding centers in Gaza, as a result of the resumption of the aggression of the Israeli occupation and the issuance of evacuation orders in the working areas.

Abu Khalef said, in press statements, reported by the Palestinian News Agency “Wafa”, that “UNICEF” is awaiting the issuance of a report from the authority to classify food security in the Gaza Strip and present the results.

He pointed out that the occupation continues to close the crossings with the Gaza Strip, and prevents the introduction of aid, medical materials, supplements, and others, 35 days ago.

It is noteworthy that “UNICEF”, yesterday, stated that more than a million children in the Gaza Strip were deprived of life -saving aid for more than a month, pointing out that the continued prevention of the entry of aid to Gaza represents a violation of international humanitarian law and its severe consequences for children.

She emphasized that she has thousands of parcels of aid awaiting entering the Gaza Strip, and that it should be allowed to enter immediately, and that the supplementary foods of the infants in Gaza have been implemented, and only 400 children are left of the supplementary milk.
