American air strikes on the Hafsin area, west of the city of Saada, north of Yemen – the seventh day

Houthi media said today that American warplanes launched 4 air strikes on the Hafsin area, west of Saada, north of Yemen.

US President Donald Trump posted a video on the “Truth Social” platform showing an American air strike targeting a group of Houthi fighters in Yemen.

Trump attached the video, with a satirical comment: “These Houthis gathered to receive instructions about an attack. Obus, there will be no attack from these Houthis! They will not drown our ships again!” According to the American New York Post.

The video, which was also published by the sites of “De Welt”, “The Daily Best” and “ACONMIC Times”, which was filmed (black and white) from a drone or a military plane, is a group of people gathered near a road, before being targeted with a precise air strike.

According to the reports, the group included about 70 individuals believed to be planning an attack on commercial ships, and the strike resulted in the killing of many of them and a large hole on the site.

Since October 2023, the Houthis, backed by Iran, intensified their attacks on ships in the Red Sea, asking the commercial shipping movement.

In response, the United States escalated its military operations, carrying out more than 200 air strikes in one day, and announced the deployment of more forces in the region.

These air strikes raised the concern of human rights groups, as they indicated the exacerbation of the humanitarian crisis in Yemen as a result of these operations.

The attacks led to the killing of civilians and the destruction of vital infrastructure, which increased the suffering of the locals who are already facing difficult conditions.
