For the first time, the occupation army announces the organization of tourist trips inside Syria during Easter – the seventh day

The Israeli occupation army announced that it will allow civilians to cross the border fence with Syria, and to join “tourist trips” with guides inside a banned military zone, during the upcoming Easter holiday, according to Sky News.

Such trips have been organized for the first time since the announcement of the establishment of Israel in 1948.

The unprecedented tours, which obtained a special permit from the Israeli army, will include reaching picturesque areas inside Syrian territory, other areas near the Yarmouk River, and military monitoring points, according to the Israeli newspaper “Yediot Aharonot”.

The army said that this initiative comes in coordination between the Northern Command and the 210th Division, the Kisht Yahunan educational center, the Golan Field School, the Golan Regional Council, the Nature Authority and the Israeli Parks.

It is noteworthy that the Jews celebrate, according to the Hebrew calendar, Easter for a week, and this year’s celebration ends on April 19.

After the fall of the Assad regime last December, Israel penetrated several kilometers inside the Syrian territories to Jabal Al -Sheikh overlooking Damascus, bypassing the buffer zone, and also seized lands southwestern Syria.

Israel also launched strikes on separate areas of Syria.

On Thursday, Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz said in a statement that the Israeli army will remain inside Syria and “will move against threats.”
