Algeria: The Security Council is required to implement its decisions to stop the Israeli aggression on Gaza – the seventh day

The permanent representative of Algeria to the United Nations, Ammar Bin Jama, stressed, on Thursday, the need for the Security Council to assume its full responsibilities and ensure the implementation of its decisions to stop the bloody Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, explaining that the failure to adopt this approach will lead to the loss of any remaining legitimacy of this UN apparatus.

The representative of Algeria- in his speech to the UN Council during the emergency meeting that Algeria called on the situation in Palestine, and was reported by the Algerian News Agency- said that the Security Council should speak clearly and “strength” and guarantee the implementation of its full decisions to put an end to the massacres committed by the occupation against Palestinian civilians, stressing that not doing so will lead to the loss of any remaining authority for it and the world will not respect this council anymore.

He pointed out that the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip face insecure suffering in light of the extermination war committed by the entity, which was not satisfied with the execution of civilians.

He pointed out that the occupation aggression against the Strip since October 7, 2023, left 400 relief workers, 209 journalists and 1060 health workers, in addition to the execution of 17 thousand children, stressing that “these people deserve justice.”

He explained that the killing has become a daily routine for the inhabitants of Gaza, while the international community watches this genocide live and remains silent.
The Algerian official also drew attention to the prevention of the occupation from entering humanitarian aid to the Strip for more than a month, as if the killing was not enough, stressing that what is happening in Gaza is absolute terror and this criminal behavior should not pass without a response.

In this regard, he stressed that the UN Resolution 2735 must be implemented completely and without delay; To save lives and put an immediate end to the continuous aggression.
