Palestinian Ministers: The critical stage we are going through requires sincere efforts – the seventh day

The Palestinian Council of Ministers warned against the brutal escalation of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, stressing that the occupation’s control of the so -called “Maraj” axis, and the separation of the cities of Rafah and Khan Younis is a criminal plan to consolidate the occupation and break up the Strip, in a blatant challenge to international law, which clearly acknowledges that Gaza is an inherent part of the State of Palestine.

On Thursday, the Council of Ministers reiterated its call to the international community to move immediately to curb the Israeli war machine, impose a full withdrawal from the Strip, and ensure the flow of humanitarian aid without restrictions, in light of a humanitarian catastrophe that threatens the annihilation of the elements of life – according to the Palestinian News Agency “Wafa”.

Palestinian Prime Minister Muhammad Mustafa stressed that the critical stage that our people are going through requires sincere efforts from all, and unifying state institutions, especially in light of the escalation of the occupation’s procedures, its plans and aggression against our people in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, and Gaza, in addition to the exacerbation of the humanitarian conditions in the sector, pointing to the president’s directives to the diplomatic corps to intensify international movements and ways of all doors to defend the issues of our people.

He stressed that the absence of decisive international measures gave the occupation the green light to continue its massacres against our people, again, relying on a decisive international action to stop the extermination and forced displacement machine, the escalation of colonialism and colonial attacks, calling for the speedy activation of international accounting mechanisms, and the implementation of international legitimacy resolutions, including the implementation of Security Council Resolution 2735, and the consultative opinion of the International Court of Justice, to end the illegal occupation Immediately and without procrastination.

On the shelter level in the northern West Bank, the government’s efforts through the Ministerial Committee for Emergency Business, in cooperation with the UNRWA “UNRWA” agency, affirmed in providing all possible needs of the displaced families, especially continuing to work on improving the conditions of temporary accommodation for the displaced.

The Council of Ministers attributed to the President to cancel the legal figure of five non -ministerial governmental institutions, and its competencies will be referred to other governmental institutions that intersect with it in jurisdiction or emanating from them in the past, which will reduce bureaucratic procedures and raise the efficiency of work, as it will contribute to recycling about 800 employees and distributing them to other government institutions according to the need, especially in light of the policy of stopping appointments that the government adopts since its commission Biblical like health, education and judiciary.

The institutions are: the cooperative work authority, the National Authority for Vocational and Technical Education and Training, the Radiological and Nawa Regulatory Regulatory Authority, the Public Health Institute, and the Land and Water Settlement Authority.

This comes within the government’s reformist program aimed at rationalizing expenditures and raising the work of government institutions, from which about 50 reform measures have been completed so far in less than a year.

The Council approved the addition of the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation to the Committee for the Inventory of Contract Staff, which works to study the contract file in government institutions to address it, and approved the formation of a specialized committee to review the internal financial audit system, for more public financial governance, and to ensure the application of proper procedures that preserve public money.

The government’s efforts to protect public money, especially after the completion of financial settlements with 49 local bodies, and the debts of about 29 other bodies, as well as the matter with many companies equipped for water and electricity services and that provide funds from citizens with the pre -payment system and do not perform their obligations, while emphasizing that the period will witness double measures against some companies that still disrupt the work of settlements and drain public money.
