Palestine: 21 storming Al -Aqsa and preventing the call to prayer 52 time in the Ibrahimi Mosque during the month of Ramadan – the seventh day

The Palestinian Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs confirmed that the Israeli colonists stormed the blessed Al -Aqsa Mosque 21 times, while the Israeli occupation prevented the lifting of the call to prayer in the Ibrahimi Mosque 52 time during the holy month of Ramadan.

The Ministry stated – in a report carried by the Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) today, Thursday – that the Al -Aqsa Mosque was subjected to 21 storming of the colonists to protect the occupation police during the month of Ramadan; They stormed the Al -Aqsa Mosque through separate doors, and carried out provocative tours in its arenas, and some of them performed Talmudic rituals, and the barriers were tightened on worshipers coming to perform prayer and i’tikaaf, and the worshipers and retreats were forced to leave the mosque by by facilitating the storming of the colonists led by Juda Glick, and the occupation approved the entry of a limited number of worshipers from the West Bank To the Al -Aqsa Mosque only on Fridays, which reflects the continuous restriction policy for worshipers.

Endowments explained – in its report – that the number of worshipers who performed Friday prayers in the Al -Aqsa Mosque amounted to about 325 thousand worshipers during the holy month of Ramadan, and that despite the strict measures imposed by the occupation, the worshipers continued to reach the Al -Aqsa Mosque and perform the prayer.

The report also monitored the intensification of extremist organizations, in cooperation with the occupation police, provocative campaigns, as the daily storming time increased by an additional 20 minutes starting from the seventeenth of Ramadan; It becomes from 7:00 am until 11:20 am, with an increase in the number of intruders, in a move aimed at imposing full control of the Al -Aqsa Mosque.

With regard to the Ibrahimi Mosque, the occupation refused to hand over the complete campus as usual on religious occasions such as Fridays, Nights of Power and Eid Al -Fitr, and continued to close the eastern door for more than four months, and the occupation forces also launched a campaign of attacks inside the campus, where they prevented the new employees from entering the sanctuary and closed the Abu Al -Rish checkpoint repeatedly, and the occupation held loud concerts inside the occupied section.

Endowments pointed out that the number of worshipers in the Ibrahimi Mosque reached 42 thousand and 365 worshipers during the holy month of Ramadan, which is much less than previous years, while the number of visitors to the Ibrahimi Mosque reached 1,985 visitors only, which is the lowest number compared to previous years, due to the strict measures imposed by the occupation.

The occupation forces also carried out incursions and sabotage of many mosques in several areas, including: the Kisan village mosque, west of Bethlehem, the Al -Omari Mosque in Ramallah Al -Tahta, the Al -Satoun Mosque, the Ajj Mosque, the Al -Salahi Grand Mosque, the Al -Tina Mosque, the Al -Nasr Mosque, the Al -Baik Mosque, the Al -Hanbali Mosque, the Abu Ubaidah Mosque in Yatta, as the colonists assaulted Nablus, they burned parts of the Al -Nasr Mosque in the Old City of Nablus.

Endowments denounced these continuous violations targeting Islamic sanctities, stressing that the occupation continues to violate the rights of worshipers and freedoms of worship, stressing the need for the international community and human rights institutions to move to stop these continuous attacks against the holy places, and ensure the protection of religious places in accordance with international covenants.
