The Secretary -General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, expressed today, Thursday, his deep concern about the human losses resulting from the escalation of hostilities in Gaza.
Guterres – according to the United Nations News Center – condemned the reports that more than a thousand people – including women and children – condemned – since the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas collapsed on March 18.

For his part, UN spokesman, Stephen Dujarric, said – in a press summary – that the Israeli bombing and wild operations were a result of widespread destruction and the displacement of more than 100,000 Palestinians from Rafah during the past two days only, most of them have been displaced several times.
He added, “The Secretary -General is shocked by the Israeli army’s attack on a medical and running caravan on March 23, which killed 15 medical and humanitarian crews in Gaza.”
He stressed the need to protect all parties to the conflict for workers in the medical and humanitarian field and emergency at all times, and respect and protect civilians, according to what is required by international humanitarian law, stressing the need to end the prevention of providing life -saving aid.
