The Lebanese People’s Congress rejected the voices calling for normalization between Lebanon and the Israeli enemy, stressing that the call to normalization contradicts the constitution and the Taif Agreement. According to the Lebanese News Agency.
He pointed out that the calls of some to normalization are a betrayal of the blood of the Lebanese martyrs from all sects and regions, who have faced the Zionist enemy from 1948 to this day, stressing that the majority of the Lebanese people, as well as most of the Arab people from the ocean to the Gulf, rejects normalization with the Zionist enemy, and will face it with full force if attempts to impose it on the popular will.

He explained that the text of the Taif Agreement is clear in terms of adhering to the armistice agreement with the Zionist entity in 1949, and that the Lebanese constitution and the laws in force the procedure stress that “Israel” is an illegal aggressive entity that must be boycotted according to the decisions of the Israeli office of the League of Arab States.
He stressed that the normalization of some countries with the Zionist entity did not achieve growth or prosperity, but rather the only beneficiary of normalization is the Zionist entity and if normalization occurs with Lebanon and the rest of the Arab countries, the Zionist enemy will take huge steps forward in all fields.
