The President of Lebanon receives an official invitation from the Sudanese to visit Iraq – the seventh day

The Lebanese President, General Joseph Aoun, received an official invitation from the Prime Minister of Iraq, Muhammad Shi’a Al -Sudani; To visit Iraq during the coming period, with the aim of researching ways to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries, according to Lebanon News Agency.

Aoun delivered the existing invitation to the business of the Iraqi embassy in Lebanon, Nada Mujul.

And Iraq had announced a few days ago, that it was agreed to provide Lebanon with fuel for a period of six months, in a renewal of an agreement aimed at alleviating the sharp shortage of energy there.

Iraq affirmed its support for Lebanon’s security and stability, in all its components, as well as commitment to contribute to its reconstruction, and he also stressed its agreement to grant the Iraqi Ministry of Oil to exceed the supply of Lebanon for a period of six months.

According to the Heavy fuel oil agreement, which is first staggered in July 2021, Iraq provides the Lebanese government with fuel for services that include health care for Iraqi citizens.
