The United Nations condemns the killings against relief workers in Gaza – the seventh day

A spokeswoman for the President of the United Nations General Assembly has condemned the killings against relief workers in Gaza and we are calling for their protection.

The International Committee of the Red Cross had expressed its “severe shock” after the death of 8 paramedics from the Palestinian Red Crescent crews, 5 civil defense and an international employee whose effects were lost eight days ago after the Israeli occupation forces surrounded them.

The Red Cross added – in a statement, reported by the Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) today, Monday: “These workers and volunteers have risked their lives to provide support to others, and we express our deep sorrow and share their families, loved ones and colleagues in their great affliction.”

The statement continued: “Since that day, the ICRC has continued its regular contacts with the Red Crescent and the various parties, asking them to reach these volunteers and coordination to determine their places.”
