UNICEF: 322 children have been killed in Gaza since Israel violated the ceasefire – the seventh day

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) announced the killing of 322 children and the injury of 609 others within 10 days, as a result of the Israeli “violent shelling and wild operations” in the Gaza Strip, after breaking the ceasefire.

“UNICEF” said in a statement carried by the Palestinian News Agency “Wafa”, today, Tuesday, that the intense and indiscriminate shelling, as well as the complete stopping of humanitarian aid to Gaza, put civilians in Gaza, especially children, in great danger.

The organization warned of the possibility of a number of deaths in the ranks of children in the event that the basic needs that Israel prevented a month did not secure, noting that more than 100 children are killed or injured daily in Gaza, and that most of the children were displaced and lived in worn tents and devastating homes.

For her part, UNICEF CEO, Catherine Russell, confirmed that the children were forced to return to a deadly circle of violence after the ceasefire collapsed, calling on all parties to fulfill their obligations within the framework of international humanitarian law.
