“It is painful to note, again this year, unable during the month of Ramadan due to unacceptable violence and continuous tensions, especially in the Middle East,” Matarella said – in statements reported by the Italian (ANSA) news agency –
Matarella expressed his solidarity with innocent civilians who suffer from the tragic effects of current crises and his hope that the message of peace and brotherhood that all religions call for.
