The Red Cross added – in a statement, reported by the Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) today, Monday: “These workers and volunteers have risked their lives to provide support to others, and we express our deep sorrow and share their families, loved ones and colleagues in their great affliction.”

The statement continued: “Since that day, the ICRC has continued its regular contacts with the Red Crescent and the various parties, asking them to reach these volunteers and coordination to determine their places.”
