This was reported by the Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs, Mohamed Mustafa Najm, in a statement, on the eve of Eid Al -Fitr Sunday, noting that the occupation refuses to hand over the Ibrahimi Mosque in all its corridors, squares and divisions on the occasion of Eid Al -Fitr.
Earlier, Saturday, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and the Palestinian homes, Chairman of the Supreme Fatwa Council, Sheikh Muhammad Hussein, announced that Sunday is the first day of Eid Al -Fitr.
Najm added that it is the sixth time since the beginning of Ramadan that the Israeli authorities have refused to open the mosque in full to the worshipers “in a blatant and unprecedented attack against the Haram (Ibrahimi) and a provocation to the feelings of Muslims, and lack of consideration for the sanctity of religious rituals.”
He said that this refusal emphasizes the policy of the Israeli occupation aimed at controlling the Ibrahimi Mosque and turning it into a Talmudi church, in which they practiced their violations of our sanctuary, our mosque and our endowment ownership.
