The Sudanese army controls a major market in Khartoum and expands its control over the capital – the seventh day

The Sudanese army confirmed that it was able to control a large market in the city of Omdurman in the capital, Khartoum, which was used by the militia of rapid support to launch attacks during the war.

This victory comes days after the Sudanese army announced the victory of the Rapid Support militia in Khartoum, and its control over most of the capital.

In a statement, the armed forces said that their forces have now taken control of the Libyan market, west of Omdurman, after they seized weapons and equipment left by the Rapid Support Forces when they flee, and the Libyan market is one of the largest and most important commercial centers in Sudan.

The army had already taken control of most of the city of Omdurman, which includes two large military bases, and the army appears to be determined to secure control of the entire capital area, which includes three cities: Khartoum, Omdurman, and Bahri, and separated by the Nile River branch.
