Sudan requests Saudi assistance to restart Khartoum International Airport – the seventh day

Saudi media quoted Sudanese Finance Minister Gabriel Ibrahim his confirmation of his country’s urgent Saudi assistance to restart Khartoum International Airport, in the context of efforts to restore normal life, especially with the economic and service challenges that Sudan is currently suffering from.

On Friday, a Saudi delegation visited the city of Port Sudan and included representatives of the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Saudi Development Fund and the King Salman Center for Relief, to discuss the urgent needs of Sudan, especially in the areas of infrastructure and basic services, according to the newspaper “Al -Arabiya.net”.

On the field side, the Sudanese warplanes launched raids this morning targeting the “Rapid Support” forces, which resulted in the destruction of more than 20 military vehicles that were trying to escape through the exports route in the Raed Al -Nuba area.

In the same context, the “Sudan Shield” forces (supporting the Sudanese army) carried out combing operations in the south of Al -Hizam in Khartoum after bloody clashes that lasted for hours, during which the Rapid Support Forces incurred great losses in lives and equipment.

The Sudanese army also announced the killing of Hussein Karim, commander of the Rapid Support Forces in West Omdurman, after being targeted by an air strike by a drone.

In addition, the Sudanese forces deployed in their strategic locations in the state of Khartoum; To secure the area and immediately resume its tasks.
