The Iraqi army announced today, Friday, the implementation of the East Salahuddin Operations Command, with proactive operations with the aim of securing the blessed atmosphere of Eid Al -Fitr in Salah al -Din Governorate, in the center of the country. These operations resulted in the killing of ten terrorists.
In a statement reported by the Iraqi News Agency (conscious) – the commander of the East Salah al -Din operations, Major General Ali Muthakh al -Maliki – stated that the operations targeted the terrorists in the province, where two of them were killed, in addition to eight others who were killed in air strikes within the responsibility area.

Al -Maliki pointed out that these operations come within the framework of a broader plan to secure protection for public places and recreational areas during the days of Eid in the areas of Tuz, Suleiman Beck, Daquq and the surrounding areas, stressing the existence of a high -level security coordination between the leadership of Salah al -Din operations and the leadership of Diyala and Kirkuk operations to achieve this goal.
