Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam warned against renewed military operations on the southern border.
Salam made – according to the Lebanese television – a call to the army commander to see the developments of the situation in southern Lebanon, and demanded that he conduct the necessary investigations to uncover the bodies behind the responsible operation by firing the missiles that threaten Lebanon’s security and stability.

The President of the Lebanese government made extensive contacts to pressure Israel to stop its repeated attacks, confirming Lebanon’s full adherence to the implementation of Resolution 1701 and the arrangements for stopping hostilities and that the army alone is responsible for protecting the borders and the Lebanese state with the war and peace decision exclusively.
