Minister Abdel -Ati expressed Egypt’s great concern about the serious state of escalation in Lebanon, warning of the current risks of escalation, which may lead to the region’s slippage to a dangerous confrontation that threatens regional security. He also stressed the need for the international community to undertake its responsibilities towards stopping the repeated Israeli violations of Lebanese sovereignty in all its forms, and in a manner that preserves its sovereignty, unity, security and stability. Abdel -Ati pointed to the urgent contacts that Egypt is making to stop this escalation with the regional and international parties, which the Lebanese Prime Minister expressed their appreciation.
