The Thai government has not yet issued a final evaluation of the size of the damage, but the earthquake led to the collapse of a building under construction, as dozens of people are believed to be besieged under the rubble, and reports have been reported on buildings and homes in 8 provinces, most of which are in the north of the country.

The 7.7 -magnitude earthquake occurred in the Mandalaay area of ​​Myanmar, followed by six other tremors, including a 3.3 -magnitude earthquake in the Thai Mi Hong Son province.
