Israel is bombing towns in southern Lebanon with artillery and phosphorus – the seventh day

The Israeli occupation defense minister, Yisrael Katz, revealed today (Friday) that Israel holds Lebanon responsible for the launch process on the Galilee region, and will respond strongly to any threat to its security.

He said in a statement: “We will ensure the security of the residents of the Galilee, and we will confront with every force to any threat.”

Today, in a statement, the Israeli army announced the launch of two “two missile shells” from Lebanon towards Israeli territory, pointing to one objection and the second fall in Lebanon.

The statement stated that “after the launch of the sirens … Two missile shells coming from Lebanon were monitored, one was intercepted while the second fell inside Lebanese territory,” while Katz warned that “if the calm did not descend in the towns of Galilee, there will be no calm in Beirut.” He added, “The rule of Kiryat Shumouna is the ruling of Beirut.”

In the context, the official Lebanese National Media Agency reported today (Friday), that the southern town of Khayyam was bombed by a hostile artillery and phosphorous, and a combing operation carried out by the Israeli army from Hammas hill, where the sound of bullets is heard extensively in the neighboring towns.

The town of Kafrkla was also subjected to artillery shelling.

In turn, the Lebanese Hezbollah denied, today, Friday, “any relationship” to launch two morning missiles from southern Lebanon towards Israeli territory.

Hezbollah affirmed its commitment to the ceasefire, according to a statement published by the party on its channel on Telegram.

An official source in the party stressed “Hezbollah’s commitment to the ceasefire agreement,” denying that “Hezbollah’s relationship with the missiles fired from southern Lebanon today towards occupied northern Palestine,” according to the statement.
