On Wednesday, the President of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council, Abdel Fattah Al -Burhan, visited the Republican Palace in the capital, Khartoum, which was controlled by the army last week, in one of the largest gains that have been going on for nearly two years with the “Rapid Support Forces”.
The Sudanese army said, in a statement, that the proof inspected the army forces at Khartoum International Airport and the Republican Palace, noting that the proof plane “landed at Khartoum Airport on the first flight that the airport received since the outbreak of the war on April 15, 2023, and was received by the General Command members of the Armed Forces Staff.”
Al -Burhan’s visit came after the Sudanese army announced, earlier Wednesday, the restoration of control of new sites in Khartoum, such as the Al -Bakir area, southeast of the capital, and the western side of the Mansheya Bridge, which connects Khartoum and the east of the Nile.
