The Minister of Labor, Mohamed Gibran, made an amendment to the Eid Al -Fitr holiday for workers in the private sector, where he decided that the leave will become from Saturday, March 29, 2025 until Tuesday, 1 of April 2025, with a paid official holiday for workers in the private sector.
The vacation will extend until Wednesday, 2 April 2025, if the legal vision of the Shawwal Crescent of 1446 AH resulted in the fact that Monday, March 31, 2025, is the first day of the month of Shawwal 1446 AH.

Eid Al -Fitr holiday for state workers starts from March 29 to April 1
Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, had issued a decision that the period from Saturday, March 29, 2025 AD until Tuesday, 1 of April 2025 AD, would be paid for workers in ministries, government departments, public bodies, local administration units, public sector companies and public business sector companies, on the occasion of Eid Al -Fitr.
