The Foreign Minister discusses with his Qatari counterpart to prepare conditions for the reconstruction in Gaza – the seventh day

My phone was connected today, Wednesday, between Dr. Badr Abdel -Ati, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration and Sheikh Muhammad bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the sisterly State of Qatar.

The communication came within the framework of periodic communication between the two brotherly countries with the aim of following up the tireless and sincere Egyptian efforts to work to stabilize the ceasefire and return to the January 19 agreement and ensure the implementation of its three stages, and to ensure the release of the hostages and the family and the entry of humanitarian, medical and shelter aid to the Gaza Strip, as well as the continuation of joint efforts to coordinate with the American side in connection with mediation efforts.

Minister Abdel -Ati also exchanged visions with his Qatari counterpart on ways to create conditions for reconstruction in Gaza, and the success of the Cairo Conference for Early Recovery and Reconstruction in a manner that ensures that the Palestinians remain on their lands.

The two ministers have agreed on the importance of continuing joint coordination between Egypt and Qatar to work to reduce the escalation in the region, and to spare the region to slip into more tensions, and the need for joint work between the two sides to reach a political settlement that guarantees the establishment of stability in the region through the establishment of the Palestinian state as a final solution to the conflict.
