Ahmed Aboul Gheit, the Secretary -General of the League of Arab States, strongly condemned the bombing of the Israeli occupation forces, the village of Koya, in the western countryside of Daraa in southern Syria, which resulted in the death and injury of a number of innocent civilians, again the categorical refusal of the continuous Israeli attacks on Syrian territory in a blatant violation of the country’s sovereignty, and an open pursuit of the seizure of the fine stage that Syria is going through to marginalize its lands and fuel sedition and conflicts.

The Minister of Jamal Rushdie, the spokesman for the Secretary -General, stressed that Abu Al -Ghait stressed that the Security Council was required to play its role in stopping the brutal and unjustified Israeli aggression against Syria, and to compel Israel to respect international law and the Concort Convention for the year 1974, calling on the international community to take strong and clear positions to deter the Israeli settlement and aggressive behavior against the countries and peoples of the region.
The spokesperson renewed the solidarity of the Arab League with the Syrian Arab Republic in the face of these repeated Israeli violations, and its full support for Syria’s sovereignty, unity, independence and territorial integrity.
