The Sudanese army regains Khartoum Airport, camps and neighborhoods from the Rapid Support Forces – the seventh day

Today, Wednesday, the Sudanese army took control of Khartoum International Airport, and also regained camps and neighborhoods from the Rapid Support Forces.

The Commander of the Khartoum Operations in the Sudanese Army confirmed control of the airport. Sources said that the army besiege roads and residential neighborhoods adjacent to the airport, which is located in the city center, and remained for many months in the grip of rapid support.

Earlier, the Sudanese military media said that the armored weapon took dawn today at the headquarters of the land port in the Press suburb, east of Khartoum.

He added that the army forces also took control of the buildings of the College of Engineering at the University of Sudan, Al -Nuzha neighborhoods and the press.

The military media also said that it had tightened its grip on the western side of the Mansheya Bridge, while sources said that the army is close to tightening its control over the Soba Bridge from the west.

In a simultaneous development, a source in the Sudanese army said that the army regained the Yarmouk Military Factory and the Tiba camp for rapid support and began to spread in the Al -Kalakalat area, south of Khartoum.

Sources also said that the army regained the city of Al -Bakir and the headquarters of the First Brigade in it, south of Khartoum, while local sources reported that the Sudanese army began military operations in the local Umm Ramta locality, west of the White Nile.

A source had reported earlier that the army had extracted all the police sites on Tuesday evening and large parts of the Berri neighborhood, east of Khartoum.
