Japan affirmed its commitment to continuing to work with the concerned countries and international organizations to improve humanitarian conditions and the reconstruction of Gaza, as well as strengthening its diplomatic efforts to support the two -state solution and achieve stability and permanent peace in the region.
The Japanese Foreign Ministry said – in a statement published today, Wednesday, that Tokyo transferred a Palestinian patient after being injured as a result of the war in the Gaza Strip, to start receiving medical care at the Central Hospital of the Self -Defense Forces of the Japanese Ministry of Defense.
She added that another Palestinian patient is scheduled to be transferred to Japan in the coming days for treatment, within the framework of medical assistance in response to the acute humanitarian crisis in Gaza, and at the request of the World Health Organization.

Japan confirmed – according to the statement – that these patients will return to their homeland after completing the treatment, and it is not intended to settle them in the country.
