The head of the Libyan National Unity Government, Abdel Hamid Al -Dubba, stressed the importance of coordination between the security services and ministries to enhance border control efforts and reduce illegal immigration flows.
Abdel Hamid Al -Dabba stressed “the necessity of intensifying security and intelligence work to address the negative phenomena related to this file.”
Al -Dabba stressed “the government’s commitment to strengthening national security and cooperation with various parties to find effective solutions to illegal immigration in a manner that ensures stability.”
This came during an expanded meeting, on Tuesday, to follow up the developments of the illegal immigration file and secure the borders, in the presence of the Minister of Interior in charge and the head of the Supreme Committee to follow up the file, Imad Trabelsi, who reviewed the results of the emergency meeting of the Supreme Committee, and the measures taken to enhance security control on the border.
Also participated in the meeting, Minister of Local Government, Badr Al -Din Al -Toumi, the Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation, Ali Al -Abed, and the Minister of Communications, Muhammad Al -Shahbi, and who is charged with conducting the affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Al -Taher Al -Baour, in addition to the head of the Internal Security Agency, Lotfi Al -Hurry.
