Al -Miqdad said in an interview with the Russian “Novosti” agency, on Tuesday, that “handing over the” Hezbollah “weapon is not possible in the resistance dictionary, because the country is at a constant threat of Israel 70 years ago, and it must be protected by all available means,” according to the agency.
He pointed out that “Hezbollah” was “the first to demand” the weapon of the Lebanese army and increase its military capabilities to be able to “confront the Israeli aggression.”
He added that “Hezbollah” is committed to the provisions of Resolution 1701 of the UN Security Council, but without adding any new conditions to it, related to weapons.
