The Japanese Kyodo News Agency – which reported the news, quoting Japanese government sources – stated that the two Palestinians will arrive tomorrow, and the other next Friday; To receive treatment at the Central Defense Forces Central Hospital in Tokyo, medical assistance will be provided at the request of the World Health Organization.
Japanese Prime Minister Shigero Ishiba said – during a parliamentary session held last February – that his government is making efforts to receive the wounded and patients from Gaza in light of the Israeli attacks on the Strip.
