The permanent representative of the State of Palestine to the Arab League, Ambassador Muhannad Al -Aklouk, expressed his thanks and gratitude for the role played by the Egyptian Red Crescent in the relief of the Palestinian people and work to deliver hundreds of convoys of aid and enter them to the Gaza Strip during the first stage of the ceasefire and Israeli aggression, as well as its loyal role in helping the wounded and patients who receive treatment in Egypt.
This came during the meeting of Ambassador Muhannad Al -Aklouk, with Dr. Amal Al -Imam, Executive Director of the Egyptian Red Crescent, within the framework of the role of the permanent commission of the State of Palestine to the League of Arab States in enhancing cooperation between the League of Arab States and the Egyptian Red Crescent to relief the Palestinian people.
During the meeting, Ambassador Al -Aklouk touched on the talk of the deadly Israeli siege on the Gaza Strip, which is one of the tools of the crime of genocide committed by Israel, the illegal force of the occupation, against the Palestinian people.
For her part, Dr. Amal Al -Imam, the Ambassador Al -Aklouk, informed the efforts made by the Egyptian Red Crescent to relief the Palestinian people, including the mechanisms and methods through which coordination is made to introduce relief and humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip when the crossings are open, as well as what the Red Crescent is doing to help the wounded, injured and stranded Palestinian in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
