UAE cyber systems repel a cyber attack on 634 government and private agencies – the seventh day

The Cyber ​​Security Council confirmed to the UAE government that the UAE cyber systems were able to deal with the cyber attacks that were exposed to 634 government agencies, especially targeting the leakage of data from vital and strategic sectors in the country, according to the best global methods in this vital field.

Dr. Mohammed Al -Kuwaiti, head of the Cyber ​​Security Council of the UAE government, said in a statement reported by the Emirates News Agency, WAM, that cyber emergency systems in the country were activated in cooperation with the relevant authorities, in a way that contributes to preserving the security of the state’s electronic space and enhancing its protection from any attempts to penetrate or threaten.

The Cyber ​​Security Council called on all governmental and private institutions to enhance electronic protection systems, raise the level of cyber readiness, and immediately report any suspicious activities that may target digital systems.

The Council stressed the importance of caution and adopting the best security practices to confront the increasing cyber threats, especially with the development of penetration tools and electronic fraud that are taking multiple forms.
