The European Union’s foreign policy official, Kaya Calas, confirmed that the two -state solution is the only way to achieve a permanent peace between the Palestinians and the Israelis.
Callas condemned- in a post on the “X” platform- renewed hostilities and called for the resumption of humanitarian aid urgently to the Gaza Strip, according to “France 24” news channel, in its English speaker, today, Monday.
Callas said that she participated in the meeting of the Arab -Islamic Ministerial Committee; To discuss the situation in Gaza, which was held in Cairo yesterday.

The parties participating in the meeting discussed yesterday, Sunday, in Cairo, the recent developments in the occupied Palestinian territories, and expressed their deep concern about the collapse of the ceasefire in Gaza and the result of this from the fall of a large number of civilian victims due to the recent air strikes.
The parties condemned the resumption of hostilities and targeting civilians and civil infrastructure, and called for an immediate return to the full implementation of the ceasefire agreement and the release of hostages and detainees, an agreement that entered into force on January 19, which was sponsored by Egypt, Qatar and the United States.
The parties stressed the need to advance towards the second stage of the agreement with the aim of its full implementation, including the release of all hostages, the permanent end of hostilities and the full withdrawal of the Israeli forces from the Gaza Strip.
