Lieberman holds Netanyahu responsible for the events of October 7 and confirms: He knew what Hamas planned – the seventh day

The leader of the “Israel Our Home” party, Avigdor Lieberman, held Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the direct responsibility for the events of October 7, 2023.

“Netanyahu’s attempt to hint for a conspiracy or blame the head of the Public Security Agency (Shabak) Ronin Bar is a pity attempt to evade personal responsibility for failure,” Lieberman said, in a post on social media.

He added: “If there is a conspiracy, it is related to only one thing: Netanyahu’s rule himself.”

Lieberman recounted a series of steps taken by Netanyahu, which he saw that it strengthened the “Hamas” movement – starting with the approval of the Gilad Shalit deal in 2011, which included the release of Yahya Al -Sinwar, to the ceasefire decisions during the “steadfast cliff” operation, and even to agree to transfer money bags for the movement, despite the opposition of the military establishment.

Lieberman wrote: “As Minister of Defense (at the time), I presented him with a document that defines Hamas’s plan to penetrate the border fence, control population gatherings, and to hold hostages – and everything has been achieved,” Lieberman wrote.

He continued: “Netanyahu knew exactly what Hamas is planning, and even publicly talked about it in a 2017 discussion in the State Monitoring Committee, however, he continued the policy of containment, arrangements and financial transfers.”

Lieberman claimed that Netanyahu has repeatedly hindered the targeted liquidation operations of “Hamas” leaders, despite the repeated requests from the military establishment.

He wrote: “Even the heads of the General Security Agency (Shabak) appointed by Netanyahu – Nadaf Arjan and Piram Cohen – witnessed that when they sought to liquidate the Hamas leadership, Netanyahu was constantly opposed.”
