The Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Jordanian Expatriate Affairs, Ayman Al -Safadi, warned of the consequences of the dangerous escalation of the security and stability of the region.

This came during a phone call from the Iranian Foreign Minister, Dr. Abbas Araqji, during which they discussed developments in the region, and the dangerous escalation it is witnessing.

Al -Safadi condemned the Israeli aggression on Gaza, stressing the importance of regional and international efforts to stop it, achieving a permanent ceasefire, and Israel’s commitment to the exchange agreement that was accomplished by an Egyptian, Qatari and American effort.

Al -Safadi stressed the need for the international community to take a clear and effective position; Israel has to compel the ceasefire agreement with Lebanon, stop the attacks on Syria, and the commitment of the 1974 clash of clash agreement with Syria.

Al -Safadi and Iraq – according to the statement of the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs today – discussed a number of bilateral and regional issues.
