The Jordanian monarch: The international community must move immediately to stop the Israeli attacks on Gaza – the seventh day

The Jordanian monarch, King Abdullah II, stressed during a telephone conversation with British Prime Minister Kiir Starmer, today, Saturday, the need for the international community to move immediately to push towards stopping Israeli attacks on Gaza, and commitment to confirm the ceasefire.

During the call, King Abdullah II stressed, according to a press statement issued by the Royal Court, the importance of resuming the entry of relief aid to Gaza to limit the aggravation of the catastrophic humanitarian situation in it.

King Abdullah reaffirmed Jordan’s position that rejects the displacement of the Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank, pointing to the danger of continuing attacks on the Palestinians in the West Bank and violations of Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem.

Speaking of the situation in Syria, King Abdullah II affirmed Jordan’s support for Syria’s efforts to preserve its unity, sovereignty and stability.
