Vice President of the Jordanian Representatives: The Cairo Summit formed a unified Arab position to end the conflict – the seventh day

The First Deputy Speaker of the Jordanian Parliament, Dr. Mustafa Al -Khasawneh, stressed that the only solution to ending the conflict in the region is to establish an independent Palestinian state on its national soil, within the decisions of international legitimacy.

Al -Khasawneh noted, in media statements today, Friday, the Arab summit that was held recently in Cairo, and confirmed that it came to form a unified Arab position to end the conflict, and that Palestine is for the Palestinians.

He referred to the efforts of the Jordanian monarch, King Abdullah II, to sharpen the active political forces to stand by the Palestinian issue, and Jordan’s assertion that the only solution to end the conflict in the region is to establish the Palestinian state on its national soil within the decisions of international legitimacy .. He said that “the conflict is not new to the region, and we have repeatedly heard about unpopular solutions at all levels.”

The first deputy of the Speaker of the Jordanian Parliament emphasized the principles of his country, which express the right of the Palestinian people to self -determination like the rest of the world, but what is happening in Gaza is a violation of the norms and humanitarian laws and the provisions of the armistice agreement.

Al -Khasawneh pointed to the adoption of a unified Arab plan to rebuild Gaza, and that Jordan is working to unify efforts with all Arab countries to develop unified positions.
