A military source in the Sudanese army said, “The army forces took control of the entire presidential palace in Khartoum, and are currently chasing the rapid support forces inside the Arab market in central Khartoum.”
The source pointed out that the army initially took control of the eastern gate of the presidential palace, and that the Rapid Support Forces withdrew towards the Arab market.
