Today, Thursday, China Daily Delly newspaper highlighted the escalation of international condemnations of Israeli raids on the Gaza Strip, amid calls for an immediate stopping of combat actions.

The newspaper stated, in a news report, that the Israeli raids on Gaza raised wide condemnation from China, the European Union, Germany, Egypt, Kuwait and Bahrain, as these countries warned that the continuation of military operations threatens regional stability and undermines calm efforts, calling for an immediate endowment of hostilities and respect for international law.

For his part, the permanent representative of the United Nations, Fu Kong, urged Israel to “abandon its obsession with force” and stop military operations immediately.

“China is strongly denouncing Israel’s resumption of hostilities in Gaza, and expresses its deep concern about the undermining of the ceasefire agreement that was reached with the same hardships.” He added: “The military solution is not the way to resolve the Palestinian-Israeli issue,” stressing the need for full and sincere commitment to calm and non-undermining agreements.

He also stressed that China is strongly opposed to “politicizing humanitarian aid and using it as a bargaining card”, considering this a violation of international law.

For its part, the European Union urged Israel to end its military operations, again calling for the immediate release of all the hostile hostages .. The High Representative of Foreign and Security Policy, Kaya Calas, said that she had informed Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar, that the situation in Gaza was “unacceptable.”

In the same context, German Foreign Minister Analina Perbuk expressed her concern, saying: “Israeli raids break the hopes of many Palestinians and Israelis to end the suffering from all parties.”

According to the newspaper, Egypt, Kuwait and Bahrain warned that the renewed Israeli attacks on Gaza threaten regional peace and stability, during a phone call made by President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi with the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Mishaal Al -Ahmad Al -Jaber Al -Sabah and the King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced – earlier – the death toll from the Israeli bombing to 49,547 since the conflict began, with 970 new deaths registered within 48 hours.

Israel has launched a violent wave between Monday evening and Tuesday morning, in the fiercest attack since a fragile truce in January, warning that the escalation was “just a beginning.”
