The Lebanese President stresses the need to establish a ceasefire and control the border with Syria – the seventh day

Lebanese President Joseph Aoun stressed the necessity of stabilizing the ceasefire, stopping the attacks and controlling the northern -eastern borders on the villages adjacent to Syria.

Lebanese television stated that President Aoun continued the security developments at the northern -eastern border, and received a series of contacts from the army commander, General Rudolph, in which he briefed him on the measures taken by the army to restore calm and stability to the area.

For its part, the Lebanese army announced the conduct of patrols in the “Hosh Al -Sayed” area to control security and maintain stability in the border area with Syria.

The army stated: We started implementing security measures in the “Hosh Al -Sayed Ali” area after coordination with the Syrian authorities to control the border security.
