Trump threatens the Houthis and new American raids on Yemen – the seventh day

US President Donald Trump vowed on Wednesday to completely eliminate the Houthis, while American fighters launched new raids on areas including Sanaa and Saada.

Trump said on his platform “Truth Social” that severe damage was caused to the Houthis, and that the situation will gradually get worse for them, as he put it.

He added that the Houthis would lose in all cases, but he considered that Iran’s stopping of its supplies would make them lose quickly.

The US President called on Iran to stop “immediately” to send weapons to the Houthis and let them fight themselves, he said.

Trump spoke of reports indicating that Iran is still sending large quantities of weapons to the group despite reducing its support for them.

Last Saturday, the United States started air strikes on what it described as Houthi targets, and said that the operation aims to restore freedom of navigation in the marine corridors in the region.

Dozens of air strikes and missile strikes killed more than 50 people in Sanaa and several other Yemeni governorates.

Meanwhile, the Houthi media reported that the capital, Sana’a, was exposed this evening to what it described as an American aggression.

The same source said that other American raids targeted the vicinity of the city of Saada, northern Yemen.

The Houthi media also said that the American aviation launched raids on the Al -Sawadiya district in Al -Bayda Governorate in the center of the country.

US officials have said that the military campaign against the Houthis could last for weeks.
