The Security Media Cell announced the overthrow of four terrorists belonging to ISIS, killing two of them and wounding others east of Salah al -Din Governorate (north of the capital, Baghdad).
A statement issued by the Security Media Cell stated: “Through intensive follow -up and harnessing technical and intelligence resources, a force of the second cohort of the 88th district and the detachments of the Military Intelligence Directorate managed within the Sector of the East Salah al -Din Operations Command and after setting up a tight ambush specifically in the Balkan area in the Al -Tuz sector, to overthrow a detachment consisting of 4 terrorists from ISIS gangs.”
The cell confirmed that “losses of this terrorist group were rumored, and two of them were killed, one of whom was a suicide bomber wearing an explosive belt and the wounding of others,” adding: “Our heroic security pieces are still continuing the inspection operation under the supervision of the operations commander and field commanders, while the security pieces were assigned to drones by the Military Intelligence Directorate and the duty is still continuous.”
